These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “user”) and Knotted Network (“Knotted Network”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) in relation to your access to and use of our website, digital platforms, and any related products or services (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing, browsing, registering, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use or access the Services.

1. Overview of Services
Knotted Network is an online marketplace and promotional platform that connects vendors (service providers), property owners, and venue managers with users seeking to hire a venue or engage a service for events. Through our website (www.knottednetwork.com), users may browse listings of various event spaces—including but not limited to houses, sheds, warehouses, restaurants, and farms—and vendor services. While basic browsing is available to unregistered users, making an enquiry or creating a listing requires providing certain personal details or registering an account.

2. Definitions
Unless the context requires otherwise:

Account – A digital profile created by or on behalf of a venue manager or vendor to manage listings and communication.
Account Password – A unique string of characters used to access an Account, created or approved by us.
Booking Enquiry – A non-binding request submitted by a user regarding a listing or service.
Collective Content – Includes both Member Content and Knotted Network Content.
Content – Includes all types of media (e.g., text, graphics, audio, video) hosted on the platform.
Guest – A user who submits a booking or service enquiry.
Listing – A space or service listed by a venue or vendor.
Member – A person or entity who completes registration with Knotted Network.
Member Content – Content uploaded by members for display on the website or services.
Privacy Policy – Our data handling policy, available at www.knottednetwork.com/privacy-policy.
User – Any person interacting with the website or services, whether registered or unregistered.
Vendor – A business or individual listed as a service provider.
Venue – A property listed for hire by a venue manager or owner.
Venue Manager – The individual responsible for maintaining a venue’s presence on our platform.
Venue Services – Services provided in connection with a venue, such as event coordination or equipment rental.
Website – Our official domain: www.knottednetwork.com.
Knotted Network Content – All content provided by or licensed to Knotted Network.
You / Your – Refers to the user of our services, regardless of their role.

3. Use of Website and Account
You must only use the website and your Account in accordance with these Terms and for lawful purposes.
You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your Account.
Misuse of the site—including unauthorised distribution, commercialisation, or illegal access—may result in suspension or legal action.
You must not attempt to use the website in jurisdictions where such use would be unlawful.

4. Account Creation and Management
Accounts are restricted to approved venue managers or vendors.
If you detect unauthorised use of your Account, you must notify us immediately.
You may request cancellation of your Account at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Accounts at our discretion, including for conduct inconsistent with our brand values or Australian anti-discrimination laws.
We may send you communications unless you opt out or unsubscribe.
We will manage your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5. Booking Enquiries and Transactions
We operate as a marketing platform; we do not provide booking services or act as agents for any party.
Submitting an enquiry may result in offers from venues or vendors. Any transaction that follows is solely between you and the service provider.

We are not responsible for the performance, accuracy, or legality of services offered by vendors or venues.
Enquiries may be declined at our discretion.​​​

6. Vendor Listings and Responsibilities
Service Accuracy and Representations: Vendors are solely responsible for ensuring that all information contained in their listings—including service descriptions, images, pricing, availability, qualifications, and client testimonials—is truthful, current, and not misleading. All promotional materials must fairly represent the services being offered and any limitations or exclusions must be clearly stated.

Licensing and Permits: You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any licences, permits, registrations, or certifications required to operate your business and offer your services in the jurisdictions where they are provided. This includes, but is not limited to:

Food handling or catering permits

Liquor licences

Security certifications

Driver accreditation (if providing transport)

Working with Children Checks (where applicable)

Insurance: Vendors must hold valid and adequate insurance relevant to their business and service offerings. This may include:

Public liability insurance

Professional indemnity insurance

Product liability insurance

Vehicle insurance (if offering transport)

Workers’ compensation insurance (if employing staff)

You must provide a certificate of currency or other evidence of insurance upon request from Knotted Network or prospective clients.

Professional Conduct: Vendors must operate their businesses professionally and ethically, including:

Communicating respectfully and promptly with users;

Delivering services as promised and on time;

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer care;

Complying with all applicable Australian Consumer Law requirements (including guarantees of due care, skill, and fitness for purpose).

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising between vendors and clients are to be resolved directly between the parties. Knotted Network is not a party to the transaction and does not mediate disputes; however, we may remove vendors from the platform where repeated or unresolved complaints are received.

No Guarantee of Results: Inclusion on the Knotted Network platform does not guarantee bookings, visibility, or engagement. You acknowledge that your visibility and performance on the platform may be influenced by the quality of your listing, responsiveness, reviews, and other user feedback.

Third-Party Authorisations: If you are not the legal owner of the venue, you must have valid authorisation or permission to list and manage the space for commercial hire. This includes permissions from landlords, co-owners, or property managers, where applicable.

Maintenance and Safety: You are responsible for ensuring that your venue is safe, clean, structurally sound, and adequately maintained. You must immediately inform users of any known hazards or changes that could affect the usability of the venue.

No Endorsement by Knotted Network: Listings on our platform do not imply endorsement or verification by Knotted Network. Users are advised to conduct their own independent verification and due diligence prior to making bookings.

Suspension or Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove vendor listings that:

Breach these Terms or applicable laws;

Receive legitimate user complaints;

Fail to deliver promised services;
-
Discriminate against users or fail to comply with relevant anti-discrimination legislation;

Operate in a way that conflicts with the values or reputation of Knotted Network.

7. Limitation of Liability
Except where required by law (e.g., the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), we disclaim all warranties and liability.
Our liability, if any, is limited to either the resupply of services or the cost thereof.
You agree to indemnify us for losses or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or any service agreement with a vendor or venue.

8. Payment and Financial Terms – Vendors & Venues
Vendors and venues are responsible for all transactional communication and fulfilment with users.
We may terminate listings or partnerships for non-payment, breaches of agreement, or conduct contrary to our brand values.
In the event of non-payment for services already delivered, we reserve the right to seek legal remedies.

9. Financial Terms – Users
All agreements for services are between the user and the respective vendor or venue. Knotted Network is not a party to these agreements.
Users must comply with the vendor or venue’s own terms and policies, including any cancellation and refund policies.
We may receive affiliate commissions from certain third-party partners (e.g., Airbnb) when you click on referral links.

10. Cancellations
Users – Venue/vendor-specific cancellation terms apply.
Vendors/Venues – For annual packages, refunds may be issued on a pro-rata basis upon cancellation. For month-to-month packages, listings remain active until the end of the final paid month.

11. General Provisions
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Knotted Network.
If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the extent necessary or severed without affecting the remaining Terms.
Australian law governs these Terms.
Continued use of the Services after amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We may modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.
We are not responsible for the content or reliability of third-party links or websites.
We may transfer or assign our rights and obligations without notice, including in connection with a merger or sale.

12. Disclaimer
Knotted Network is a wedding vendor directory and lead-generation platform. We do not endorse or guarantee the services of any listed vendor. All vendor profiles and claims are provided by the vendors themselves. We encourage users to conduct their own due diligence before booking.
While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date listings, we are not responsible for errors, omissions, or misrepresentations.
